Hyundai Motor Launches Nft For New Ioniq 6 Ev

According to a press release, Hyundai Motor has unveiled a non-fungible token (NFT) membership program for its new electric vehicle (EV) IONIQ 6, giving owners exclusive access to Web3 content.

The IONIQ Vehicle NFT includes access to VIP rights and exclusive fashion items at Planet Hyundai, a digital space created in the Naver Z Zepeto metaverse, and a Casetify gift card that owners can use to build a custom phone case.

Hyundai Motor plans to open IONIQ Digital Garage, a virtual event space dedicated to NFT owners.

Last Thursday, a car manufacturer sent 5,000 NFT generative art to IONIQ 6 to celebrate the unveiling of an electric vehicle concept.

 The Hyundai IONIQ 5 was the best-selling electric vehicle in South Korea from January to May this year, while its U.S. electric vehicle retail sales rose 179% year-on-year, a car dealer claims.
