The Creators Of STEPN Introduced A Cross-chain NFT Marketplace
- STEPN team introduced MOOAR NFT marketplace
- It works on a membership model for $29.9 per month
- The utility token will be GMT
The STEPN team launches its own NFT marketplace MOOAR. It does not charge transaction fees but uses a $29.9 per month membership model. GMT became the service token of the site.
STEPN said that their marketplace is one of the steps in their roadmap. The company has taken a strategy to become a one-stop shop for Web3 fans.
The MOOAR platform supports the Ethereum and Solana blockchains. She will now focus on the PFP NFT (Profile Picture Non-fungible Token) format. These are static tokenized pictures most often used in avatars and art collections.
NFT authors will receive mandatory royalties. Their size varies from 0.5% to 10% (default 2%). But, as we said, there will be no commissions.
“With the subscription model, we can save money for our active users. And also to avoid the risk of many existing marketplaces when they cut what is essentially their only source of income – commissions.
There will be a launchpad section on the MOOAR platform. It is community driven and uses GMT tokens for voting.
Members of the STEPN community will receive a free membership for 1 month. You can claim a subscription on the marketplace page.
In addition, the platform will have a system of privileges for STEPN users.
