On November 20, a charity event, UKRAINE FILMFEST, will take place at NeueHouse Hollywood. The EnoughTea Foundation organizes it with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and UNITED24.
The event’s program includes a festival of Ukrainian short films, an NFT exhibition and fundraising through UNITED24.
Leonard Maltin, one of our most respected film critics, will participate in the event. His daughter Jessie Maltin will co-host the event.
The purpose of the festival and exhibition is to call on the global film community to support Ukraine and donate directly through the UNITED24 fundraising platform, initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
On November 26, two more charity screenings will take place – this time in London (Picturehouse Central) and Kyiv (Unit. City). Not only representatives of the film industry but also volunteers, doctors, advocates, and representatives of the Ukrainian crypto community will be invited to the event in the Ukrainian capital. Guests in Kyiv will have a live broadcast from London and particular video messages from Hollywood stars with words of support for Ukrainians.
« UNITED24 is an opportunity to make a donate in one click from any country in the world. We are grateful to everyone who donates, and to everyone who becomes an ambassador of the platform. Thanks to such strong support, in 5 months we managed to raise more than 200 million dollars. UkraineFilmFest in California is another opportunity to tell the world about Ukraine and attract new donations. Thanks to the global film community that supports our country and does not stand aside from the topic of war ,” said Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development.
