The main page of The Tor Project was unblocked in the Russian Federation by a court decision. This was announced by the lawyer of “Roskomsvoboda” Ekaterina Abashina, representing the organization’s interests during the proceedings.

“Roskomnadzor, of course, indecently delayed the unblocking of the site, because the decision to block was canceled on May 19, and since then there was no reason to find The Tor Project in the register of prohibited information,” she noted.

In addition, the Google company involved in the case, which was required to remove the browser from Google Play, asked to postpone the case. The court adjourned the meeting.
