Phantom Developers announced the launch of the mobile version of the wallet in November 2021. In December they reported that they would bid for the right to access the beta version of the iOS application in the format of a Dutch auction, but under pressure from the community, these plans were abandoned.
1/5 – Hey everyone – we hear your feedback loud and clear and we’ll be changing our approach to how we distribute our iOS beta invites.

The Android product received a set of functions similar to the iOS application. Users can send, receive and exchange digital assets, including DeFi tokens and NFTs.
According to a press release, more than 50,000 people took part in the beta testing of the application.
Recall that in January 2021, the operator Phantom closed a $109 million Series B funding round. It was led by venture capital company Paradigm.
