The former head of the financial regulator in Brazil, Enrique Meirellis, has become part of the Binance team. The expert will serve as an adviser to the company’s advisory board.
This was stated by the local news portal O Globo. Binance confirmed the appointment of Meirellis, but did not disclose details regarding his work in the new position.
It is known that the ex-head of the Central Bank will enter the advisory council. It is possible that Meirellis will support the stock exchange on legal issues.
