Investment Giant Franklin Templeton To Launch Metaverse-focused ETF

One of the world leaders in the investment sector, represented by Franklin Templeton, announced the launch of an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The platform will track the Solactive Metaverse Global Innovation Index.
According to company representatives, metaverses in the near future will provide an unprecedented level of communication between people and access to huge layers of information. Major technology firms see this industry as one of the most promising areas for future expansion.
Franklin Templeton intends to provide access to the new ETF to European investors. On September 7, the ETF will be launched on Deutsche Börse Xetra (XETRA) and Borsa Italiana. Two days later, on the 9th, it will also start providing services on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
The investment giant will target companies that have a significant impact on the industry. Among them, such players of the metaverse market as Galaxy Digital, Meta, Block, Electronic Arts, etc. are mentioned.
Going forward, the ETF will also provide services in France, Germany, Finland, Spain, and Sweden.
