Coinbase has opened access to a cryptocurrency card for all US residents
Bitcoin exchange Coinbase announced the release of a Visa debit card for US residents with the possibility of receiving cashback in cryptocurrencies up to 4% of each purchase. Residents of the state of Hawaii will not be able to order the card.

There are no transaction fees for Coinbase Card. There are no service fees, no credit checks, and no registration requirements.
The bitcoin exchange earns on the spread when converting to US dollars. Its size is disclosed in the user agreement.
Debit card holders will be able to switch the cryptocurrency in which they intend to receive cashback. Available for them: BTC, ETH, DAI, DOGE, XLM. AMP, ALGO and RLY. The received digital assets can also be spent without commissions.

Debit Card Announcement for US Residents took place in October 2020. In June 2021 Coinbase added support Apple Pay.
Recall, users from the UK got access to Coinbase Card in April 2019. A few months later the company released card for residents of Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Earlier, Visa announced that for October-December 2021, holders of Visa cryptocurrency cards spent $2.5 billion.
According to Visa, the number of its crypto card partners has increased from 56 to 65, including Coinbase, Circle, FTX, Bakkt and BlockFi. The number of merchants accepting digital assets has almost reached 100 million.
According to Mastercard research, in 2022, 40% of payment system users plan to use digital currencies.
