How to properly clean jewelry

The ideal care option is the professional cleaning of the product. But there is not always time to visit the nearest jeweler or contact us for service. Therefore, we will tell you a few life hacks for quickly and safely cleaning silver and gold. Save yourself so as not to lose:⠀

• Toothpaste – only white, without color additives! Squeeze a little directly onto the jewelry and gently wipe with a soft cloth (you can also use a brush, just make sure it’s soft and won’t scratch!).
• Ammonia and hydrogen peroxide – add two tablespoons of each substance to a liter of water, and then put the silver jewelry there for 15 minutes.
• Soap and baking soda – Dissolve a spoonful of baking soda and a little soap in a glass of water, and then put the jewelry into the solution for 15-20 minutes. This method is the safest for blackened silver.⠀
• Ammonia will help restore the gold to its former brilliance: dilute a teaspoon of alcohol in a glass of water (if the product also contains precious stones, then add six drops of ammonia), and dip the jewelry into this mixture for 15 minutes.

At the end of any procedure, the product must be thoroughly rinsed in clean water and wiped dry with a soft cloth or napkin.
