Trezor And Wasabi To Add Anonymous Transactions Via CoinJoin
- Trezor wallets will have a mixer option
- It will be implemented by partner Wasabi
- Anonymizing will start working next year
Trezor has confirmed plans to partner with Wasabi. They will jointly implement CoinJoin technology in Trezor hardware crypto wallets. The new option will be available from next year.
CoinJoin works on the principle of a crypto-misher. It mixes direct connections between the sender and the recipient by selecting the amount necessary for the transfer from the transactions of other users. Such a principle requires a wide range of users, since the more people who conduct transactions, the more privacy CoinJoin can provide.
Wasabi has been supporting CoinJoin technology since 2020. In March of this year, they launched censorship on some transactions. True, in fact, we have not seen reports of mass blocking or other user problems.
Using a Trezor hardware wallet in conjunction with a Wasabi crypto wallet will allow you to conduct confidential transactions, but at the same time in a secure Trezor Suite network.
Recall that the largest competitor of Trezor, Ledger, has added the option of exchanging cryptocurrency via FTX in the Ledger Live application.
